I'll stamp all over 'serious combatant' Jake Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight round fight which will be streamed in real-time on the streaming platform.

Briton Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "break" his opponent as the combatants confronted each other to build hype for the upcoming boxing match.

Ex two-time unified boxing king Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge uneven pairing - at Miami's Kaseya Center on December 19th.

Boxer's Mentality

"I plan to injure his face and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35 years old, said.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I'm going to seriously aim to injure him. That's my intention."

Civil Exchange

Despite these statements, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - typically known for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.

Jake Paul rather criticized ex Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "a joke" after the Cameroonian declined a bout proposal.

Taking Aim at Tyson Fury

Joshua, at the same time, took aim at UK rival Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul win.

"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he showed up," the boxer said.

"I acknowledge that."

Serious Fighter

In spite of declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his rival's boxing ability.

"Jake is a credible opponent," he remarked.

Jake Paul's Background

Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mostly fought mixed martial artists or faded names since entering professional boxing.

He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.

Financial Success

Nevertheless, the novice continues to be one of boxing's greatest financial successes, consistently making substantial earnings.

Forecast and Belief

The 28 year old forecast a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would stop the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly under discussion for 2026.

"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul declared.

Size Disparity

As both boxers participated in the usual confrontation, with their size difference on show, it highlighted just how improbable this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is really proceeding.
